As an intern here you'll be in the room, learning how a growing financial firm operates from the inside.
About the Role
We're hiring a Human Resources Intern to support our team with the day-to-day work that keeps our people operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on role built for someone who wants real experience in HR — not busy work. You'll be involved in recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and compliance, working directly alongside leadership.
This is a great fit if you're looking to build a career in human resources, people operations, or business administration and want to see how HR works at a growing firm where you can make a real contribution.
What a Typical Week Looks Like
- Posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Organizing and maintaining employee files, onboarding documents, and HR records
- Drafting and proofreading internal communications, offer letters, and HR correspondence
- Supporting benefits enrollment, payroll processing, and PTO tracking
- Researching HR best practices and helping implement process improvements
- Handling sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
- Assisting with compliance tasks such as I-9 verification and policy updates
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple tasks
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Available to work in-office in Miami, FL for ~20 hours per week
Nice to Have:
- Prior office, customer-facing, or administrative experience
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., JazzHR, Greenhouse)
- Interest in employment law, recruiting, or people operations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
What You'll Gain
- Direct mentorship from leadership at a growing financial services firm
- Real experience across the full HR lifecycle - recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations
- A professional reference and portfolio of work you actually did, not just observed
- Exposure to how HR supports business operations in a fast-paced, small-team environment
Please only apply if you meet the required qualifications listed above. We review every application and want to make sure this is the right fit for both sides.
