About Us

East Harbor is a private credit firm that makes secured loans against real assets: marine vessels, aircraft, real estate, and commercial vehicles. We're collateral-first. If the asset is strong, we'll fund borrowers that banks won't touch. Our portfolio includes 200+ active loans across multiple entities, and we close in 2-4 weeks.

We're CECL-compliant and audited, but we operate without the bureaucracy of a bank. Deals move fast here.

The Role

You'll own the financial operations that keep the business running. This role manages accounts payable, deal processing, wire screening, compliance tracking, and corporate administration across six legal entities. You're the person who makes sure capital moves correctly, records are accurate, and nothing falls through the cracks.

What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable workflows: invoice processing, payment disbursements, wire screening, and vendor coordination
  • Process and review incoming deals for due diligence completeness and accuracy before funding
  • Maintain cash and payment ledgers across multiple entities and partnerships
  • Coordinate deal closings with brokers, attorneys, title companies, and insurance providers
  • Track and execute compliance renewals: surety bonds, collections licenses, dealer licenses, annual reports, and property tax filings across all entities
  • Manage the corporate document repository: tax filings, contracts, promissory notes, and loan agreements
  • Support payroll monitoring, employment onboarding, and office administration
  • Maintain inventory of consumable supplies and manage vendor relationships

What We're Looking For

  • We prioritize capability over tenure. If you have sharp organizational skills and a strong track record, we want to hear from you regardless of years of experience.
  • Background in financial operations, accounting, office management, or lending operations
  • Comfortable managing ledgers, reconciling figures, and working with financials daily
  • Strong organizational skills. You'll be tracking deadlines, payments, and compliance filings across six entities simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate with attorneys, brokers, title companies, and insurance agents
  • Bachelor's degree in any quantitative or analytical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Based in or able to commute to Miami, FL

Preferred

  • Experience in private credit, commercial lending, or financial services
  • Familiarity with loan servicing platforms (LoanPro or similar)
  • Knowledge of UCC filings, title insurance, and collateral documentation
  • Experience with multi-entity corporate administration and compliance
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Why This Role

  • You'll own the entire operations function for a growing private credit platform. No shared responsibility, no ambiguity.
  • Direct access to the CFO and senior leadership. Small team, real impact.
  • Exposure to deal flow across yachts, aircraft, real estate, and commercial vehicles. Not a generic back office.
  • Clear growth path as the firm scales toward $1B.
